Dear parent/carer,

Christmas Fayre

Many thanks to all those who came along to support the PTA Christmas Fayre . A huge £1020.00 was raised which means that we can continue to keep our laptops and i-pads updated to enhance your children’s learning. We all owe immense gratitude for Mrs Gray and her team , including many volunteer parents and friends , for all the organising involved.

Congratulations to all those who won raffle prizes. We have one unclaimed prize – red ticket number 42. You can collect your prize from Jeanie in the front office.

Staffing update

As you may be aware Miss Pestell is now on maternity leave, enjoying the first weeks with her baby boy and Miss Young is settling in nicely with the year 1/2 class. Mrs Whitehead is due to go on maternity leave in the next few weeks and Mr Durham, who has already been working with the year 5/6 children, will join us as she leaves. Mr Bilotta is sadly being treated for peritonitis and we wish him a speedy recovery – we will cover his absence internally. Finally we look forward to welcoming Mrs Bannister to the Year 3/4 team in January as Mr Beesley moves to a Head of School position in Manchester. We wish him all the best with his new adventure!

Kind regards

Nikki Lawton
